Worship
Join us for Worship
Lutherans
are people of Word and Sacrament. When we gather on Sundays,
we take time to read the Scripture, preach the Word, baptize those entering
the Christian community for the first time and gather around the table where
we receive Holy Communion. Gathered together, we sing, pray, and enjoy
fellowship. You are always invited to join us for worship.
Worship
Sundays: 9:00 a.m.
Sunday
morning worship is "classic" in style, based on liturgies and
hymns from our hymnal.
A loving nursery is available
during worship.

Midweek Advent Series: Sabbath
Wednesdays in
Advent at 7:00 pm
We will gather at the Upper Church on Wednesdays through
Advent. Using the Holden Evening Prayer worship service, we
will explore the theme of Sabbath, why we do it, why it’s
hard for us, and discovering ways to make it an important
part of life. Using Deuteronomy 5:12-15 as a guide, we will
prepare our hearts for Jesus’ birth with a Sabbath theme
during one of the busiest times of the year.
Advent/Christmas

meaningful ways this season.

Baptism & Communion Questions
We believe that the host of the meal
provided during worship today is Christ. Christ invites
everyone to this meal, saying, “This is for you for the
forgiveness of sin.” Echoing Christ, we invite everyone to
this banquet. If you would like to receive deeper
instruction in the Christian faith; if you desire to be
baptized; or if you simply seek someone to pray with or for
you, inquire of the pastor or indicate the need on the
communion card. Contact the pastor at 608-423-3017.
